![]() It does ensure that everyone behaves well (or at least that is the way it should work). I review you as a host and you review me as a guest. This is what I love the most about Airbnb is that it is a dual review community. When you are a guest and you write a review, the owner does care (I hope) and it means so much. I am sharing this review I just got because it just makes me smile to see these review roles and I wanted to share it with others. People are so grateful for me that I am opening my house up to them, and so far they have been very respectful of my home and have treated it with the utmost care (I have a lot of insurance to make sure that I am covered if things go bad). I have already started to book repeat customers for next summer which is so cool. ![]() They usually have great stories as to why they are renting an #Airbnb in #Minneapolis and the connection I have created is great. My favorite thing is interacting with guests. I have found the project management aspect of running a successful Airbnb is so much fun, I love cracking the code on project management and it is no different for an Airbnb property than it would be for any project (totally different tasks but in the end you are looking for the best and most cost-effective way to deliver the best product or service). ![]() One thing that has been fun with Airbnb is seeing how it all works together, I use 3 pieces of software to manage and price my property, and I have a property manager, a wonderful cleaning woman, and a great maintenance team. I also have stepped into the world of Airbnb this past year with my first property renting almost 100% through summer of 2024. I "fell" into social media marketing back in its infancy 15 years ago and founded SND Agency, a social media agency. So I stepped into the world with practical goals for "real jobs" like teaching, but it seemed the forces were constantly pushing me towards starting my own business. I did not grow up in a family of entrepreneurs and I did not understand anything about what it really was. I have self-labeled myself as an accidental entrepreneur because I did not set out to be an entrepreneur, yet every bone in my body screams to be an entrepreneur and this has been so my entire life since I was a little kid with a Kool-Aid stand. Interested in learning more about bringing my team into your brand house to help level up your social media marketing? DM me now. Over the years we have refined the model to be a powerful tool that delivers spot on, targeted organic and paid social, with no errors and consistently building both brand equity and awareness. Our SND COMPLETE Social Media approach is exactly what our clients have needed. I am so proud of my team at SND Agency and what we have built. I hired the best people (in-house) and promised top quality, expert service that clients could depend on. I responded by changing direction from being a consultancy to offering a full service agency to do everything for the brand in regards to their social media program. The brand would often fail in their efforts to level up their social media marketing, not because they lacked strategy, but because they lacked the time, expertise and bandwidth to execute the strategy. That was great, except when it came to actual execution of the strategy, the internal marketing teams would be so strapped for time, stressed to add this element of expertise to their already over flowing plates and this would limit both their creativity and overall output of quality content. This meant I would audit them and map out the strategy for what to do to succeed. In the early days of my career (over 15 years ago when social media marketing was in its infancy), I helped brands build social media strategy. #marketingdirector #cmo #businessowner #ceo Ready to elevate your brand? ✨ Give me a □ in the comments to ensure you see more of my #socialmediamarketingtips content in your feed! Craft content people can’t resist liking, commenting, saving, and sharing! Be a source of positivity and usefulness. Value for your audience is the name of the game. Break the monotony and share content that sparks likes, shares, and saves. People crave authenticity, not constant selling. Aim for connection over a sales pitch and stop exclusively pushing products. This means you are constantly optimizing, reviewing, and revising things as you go. Remember, your social media strategy should be fluid-not static. Your posts should lead your audience into a buying journey. Social media marketing is an art and a science, not a gamble. Just posting on social media ≠ social media marketing. □ Ditch the random posts! Posting without a strategy won’t cut it.
